Job DescriptionPA/ NP needed for thriving Central Wisconsin private practice:
Urology Specialists of Wisconsin, SC (USOW) is looking to add one or two physician assistants join a thriving Central Wisconsin private practice which currently includes six physicians and one physician assistant.
USOW’s main location is in Wausau, WI with 5 satellite locations in north central Wisconsin: Rhinelander, Eagle River, Antigo, Medford and Wisconsin Rapids. The wide variety of patients and patient problems allow us to stay current in all topics in urology. We are looking for one or two PA's to develop their own clinics primarily at our Wausau location, but with the potential of assisting in our busier satellites, Rhinelander or Wisconsin Rapids (each less than one hour from Wausau location). Ideal candidates will be comfortable working independently, have a passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care, possess good judgment and excellent communication skills. Midlevel providers take first call one weekend per month and one evening per week and rotate rounds with other midlevel providers. No holiday call is required and a physician always shares call with the midlevel provider.
We utilize Epic EMR and have electronic access to imaging through our main and outreach locations. An extensive orientation period is provided to PA to learn urological protocols and at least one physician is available in the office each day for easy access for answers to questions.
