The emergency department at (NHMC) is one of only two in the San Fernando Valley that is certified as a trauma center. NHMC provides treatment to over 60,000 patients annually. As a Paramedic Base Station our trauma care team provides critical care 24 hours a day and we are the only Pediatric Trauma Center in the San Fernando Valley. There are 27 beds in the main emergency department and 8 Fast Track beds. The ED currently has 44 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of Allied Health Provider (AHP) coverage daily. Nearly all physician’s shifts are supported with Scribe services. Night APC shift is supported by scribe services
Unrestricted California Physician Assistant License (NCCPA).
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
DEA License with California registration
1 years of Emergency Department experience
2 years of Primary care experience
